Escola de Capoeira (E.CA) is a non-profit organization that has the spreading of Brazilian culture in its many aspects: capoeira, dance, music, language and culinary art as its goal.

Led by Mestre Djop Barbosa, a Brazilian born capoeira master with over 30 years experience, the E.CA's primary responsibility is to form and inform capoeiristas. We don't proclaim an absolute truth but help each student develop and expand his or her individual potential, passing on the necessary information to gain insight into the infinite universe that is capoeira.

Lessons do not follow a formal pedagogy but rather create a situation in which students can learn in a harmonious, fun and spontaneous way, improving their physical ability and musical creativity.
